The Joyce Banda Foundation has pumped in twenty-five million kwacha for school fees and catering for 60 secondary and college girls in Zomba.
Speaking at the check presentation at her house in Domasi, former president Dr. Joyce Banda urged girls to prioritise discipline and dignity to prosper in all endeavours, including education.
Dr. Banda advised the girls to have a clear mission statement to avoid losing unnecessary time during their life on earth.
Tamasha Lamusi, one of the beneficiaries, applauded the former president for the gesture.
